Basic Enterprises

Bhosari is an industrial place, and that is exactly where Basic Enterprises sits at number 11. The area is full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and the hum of big engines. We fit right in with that. Our building is a simple structure that doesn't stand out much from the ones next to it. Inside, it’s mostly open space where we handle our daily operations. There is always a smell of grease and maybe some burnt electricity in the air. We don't spend much money on decorating the place. The walls are a plain grey, and the floor has some cracks here and there from moving heavy equipment around. We have a small office section partitioned off with some old wood and glass, where the paperwork gets filed. Most of the day is spent on the main floor dealing with the actual work. We wear boots and clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. It gets hot in the summer because the roof is metal, but we just keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. People around here are mostly working class and we all know each other’s faces. We grab tea from the stall down the road twice a day. It’s just a normal day-to-day existence in a busy industrial zone. We do our tasks and then head home when the sun goes down and the street lights finally come on.
