We've been at Shop No 17/18 in Ganesh Park for a while now. Most people around Katraj know where we are because we're right on the Old Pune Mumbai Road. It's a busy spot but pretty easy to find once you're in the area. We mostly keep a mix of wooden furniture and some basic home electronics. It gets a bit crowded in here sometimes with all the sofas and fridges packed in, but that’s just how it is. My brother and I take turns sitting at the desk. We aren't a big showroom with fancy lights or anything. It’s just a regular local place where you can walk in and look at what we have in stock. If you need a new cupboard or maybe a washing machine, we usually have a few models ready to go. The traffic outside can be quite loud during the day, especially on weekends when everyone is out. We open up early most mornings to get a head start. We don't really do much advertising around here. People usually just wander in because they saw the sign while driving past or their neighbor told them we had what they needed. It’s a straightforward business. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the new stock takes up all the floor space and it's hard to move around. If you're coming by, there's a bit of parking space right in front of the shop for a scooter or a car. We’ve seen Katraj change quite a bit from this spot.
