Balkrishna Moreshwar Deshpande Inamdar Foundation

The Balkrishna Moreshwar Deshpande Inamdar Foundation is located in Sadashiv Peth, which is one of the older, more traditional parts of Pune. We’re in Swojas House, at number 1159. If you’re looking for the building, it’s right near the Pashankar Garage. It’s a busy little corner of the city. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where all the work happens. We handle a lot of administrative tasks here, keeping the foundation running smoothly. Sadashiv Peth is a great neighborhood because everything you need is within walking distance, like the little stationery shops or the places to get a quick snack. The building itself is well-maintained, but it definitely has that local Pune feel to it. Inside, we have a few desks and a lot of paper. We aren't really into the whole modern office look with glass walls and open spaces. We prefer having our own corners to work in. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have fans to keep things moving. The people working here are all locals who know the area well. We don't try to be something we’re not. We’re just a small foundation trying to do our part and keeping things simple. It’s a quiet, hardworking environment most of the time, and we like the routine of being here every day.
