Balaji Nirman Group

You can find Balaji Nirman Group at number 38 on Gadgil Street in Baner Gaon. It’s a busy little street. Our office is right there in the middle of everything. We are a local bunch. We do a lot of small-scale building and renovation work around the area. The building we are in is older, but it works for us. Inside, there are usually three or four of us sitting around a big table with a lot of papers. We don't do the corporate style. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. Most of our time is spent visiting sites and checking on the progress of the brickwork. Baner has changed a lot since we started, and we’ve been part of some of that. We know the local shops and the people who live here. It’s a tight community. Sometimes we have issues with the materials being a different color than what we ordered, and we have to fix that. It’s just part of the daily grind. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a few guys trying to do a decent job with the tools we have. We like working with our hands and seeing something actually get built from nothing. If the power goes out, we just open the windows and keep writing notes by hand. We have a small radio that usually plays old songs and keeps us company.
