Balaji Belts

We are Balaji Belts, sitting over here at 382 Narayan Peth. If you know the Umbaryaganpati Chowk area, you know it gets pretty crowded, especially around Laxmi Road. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. The shop is small and filled with different kinds of belts. It’s not the kind of place where everything is perfectly lined up like a mall, but we know where everything is. Usually, one of us is sitting near the front while customers wander in from the street. The noise from the chowk is constant, but it's part of the day. We don't do much in terms of fancy displays. We just put the stock out and help people find what they need. Sometimes the stock takes up too much space and we have to move boxes around just to walk. It’s a bit of a squeeze. We don't have a big website or a bunch of people answering phones. It’s mostly just us dealing with whoever walks through the door or calls about an order. We’ve stayed in Narayan Peth because everyone knows this market. It’s a practical location for a business like ours. We keep things simple. No big speeches or goals, just selling belts and making sure the shop stays open. It’s a routine we’ve had for years. Some days are busier than others, especially during festival times when the whole road is packed with people. We just do our part and go on.
