Our warehouse is at S No 1228, right by Palkhi Vithoba Chowk in Bhavani Peth. If you’ve ever been to this part of Pune, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can get. It’s a real old-school market feel here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. Every morning starts the same way, with trucks trying to navigate the tight corners to drop off goods. It’s a bit of a scramble getting everything unloaded and stacked properly. The space is packed to the ceiling with boxes and crates. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning or marble floors, just solid concrete and a lot of heavy lifting. It’s a noisy place with people shouting and horns honking outside near the chowk. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here by name. We spend a lot of our time checking manifests and making sure the right piles are going to the right people. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three deliveries show up at once, but we manage to sort it out eventually. It’s hard work and the dust gets everywhere, but it’s what we do. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Most people just know we’re here because we’ve been here forever. We just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure the counts are right at the end of the day.
