You can find Shradha Electronics & Electricals over at Gat No. 1149/3, Shop No. 5-6 in Baburao Nagar. We’ve been in Shirur for a long time and watched the area grow quite a bit. Our shop is a bit bigger than some because we took over two units to store all the heavy electrical gear and electronics. It’s not a polished showroom where everything is behind glass. Most of our stock is just piled up on sturdy wooden shelves where we can reach it quickly. We deal with a lot of contractors and local homeowners who need parts for their new builds or repairs. The floor is concrete and usually has some dust on it from the construction nearby. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media page. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at No. 43 for years and people know we have what they need. It gets hot in the shop during the summer months, so we usually have a big industrial fan blowing near the counter. We spend our days counting inventory and testing bulbs. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually a bit greasy from handling the hardware. We don't use any complicated systems for our sales. We just write everything down in a big ledger book. It’s a steady business and we like the people in Baburao Nagar. We just keep things running as they are supposed to be.
