Down here at Shukrawar Peth in the RBI Layout, Gaurav Nagar Phase VII, our place is tucked away at number 1671. It is a quiet spot mostly, though the traffic can get a bit much in the mornings. We have been operating as B T Jain for quite some time now. We handle a bit of everything that comes our way related to the trade. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we store our inventory and sit down with people. We see a lot of the same faces from around Gaurav Nagar coming in for stuff. We keep the doors open early and stay until the work is finished. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time moving boxes than anything else. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through on the desk, which none of us really likes doing. The street outside is busy with people going to work and kids heading to school. We just fit into the neighborhood routine. We are not some big chain, just a local spot where you can find us most days of the week. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s a simple life running a business in this part of town. We just focus on our customers and getting them what they need without any fuss. It works for us and keeps us going.
