Our company, B G Shirke Const Tech Pvt. Ltd., is based in the Industrial Estate in Mundhwa. We occupy plots 72 and 76. It is a large area because construction technology requires a lot of room for equipment and materials. The ground is usually dusty from the trucks moving in and out. This isn't a place for shiny shoes. We are surrounded by other factories and workshops, so there is a constant hum of engines and metal hitting metal. Our office is a functional building right on the site. Inside, it is full of blueprints and hard hats. We spend a lot of time on our feet or out in the yard checking on things. Mundhwa has become a big hub for this kind of work in Pune. The sun hits the metal roofs in the afternoon and it gets quite warm, so we appreciate the shade when we can find it. We have a lot of people working here, from engineers to guys who handle the heavy lifting. It is a no-nonsense environment. We don't spend money on fancy furniture for the lobby.
