Avimo Care Foundation

You can find us over at Kumar Selena Society in Baner. We are in Flat No. B-501, which is part of the Sno. 135/1 area. It’s a residential complex, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. Avimo Care Foundation is basically just us working from this flat. Baner is a nice part of Pune, and being in a society like Kumar Selena makes it a very calm place to work. We don't have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who handle the care-related projects we have going on. We spend our days at our desks, talking to people on the phone or organizing things for the foundation. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There are some files stacked up and we usually have the windows open to let in some air. We like the fact that it’s a simple setup. It helps us stay focused on the actual work instead of worrying about how things look. People in the society know us, and it’s a friendly atmosphere. We don't really use big words or have complicated missions. We just try to provide some care and help out however the foundation can. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been in Baner for a bit and we really appreciate the quiet pace of this neighborhood compared to the city center.
