Avadhoot Goseva Foundation

We are tucked away behind Prerana Society in the Erandwana area of Pune. The address is 37/2 Yashashri. It is a decent spot, fairly quiet considering how busy Pune can get. We have been focusing on go-seva for a while now. It is something we feel strongly about, just taking care of the cows and making sure they are treated right. Our space is not very large. It is mostly just a spot for us to coordinate things and keep our records. We spend a lot of time out of the office, actually visiting the animals and talking to the people who look after them. It is hard work and your clothes usually end up getting dirty. We do not mind. We are not a big organization with a bunch of donors. It is mostly just a few of us putting in our time and whatever money we can spare. Sometimes we have volunteers who come by to help out for a weekend. The building, Yashashri, is easy enough to find if you know where the society is. We do not have any fancy brochures. If you want to know what we do, you just have to come by and chat with us. We are usually around in the afternoons. It is just simple, practical work. No big missions or complicated goals. We just want the animals to be okay and fed. That is enough for us at the end of the day.
