Our place is over in G-71/2 in the MIDC area of Bhosari. If you have ever been to this part of Pune, you know it is all factories and narrow roads filled with tempos. We have been at this spot for quite a while now. The noise of the presses is something you just get used to after a week. It is loud, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of metal scraps before the cleaning shift starts. We handle a lot of heavy parts here. It is not an office job where you sit in a chair all day. Most of us are on our feet, checking the machines or moving bins of assemblies around. The air smells like oil and burnt metal, which is just part of the life in Bhosari. We have a small staff room, but most people prefer to stand outside for five minutes when they get a break. It gets really hot in the summer, especially under the tin roofs, so we drink a lot of water. There is not much to say about the building itself; it is just a big shed with a lot of stuff going on inside. People come here to work, earn their wages, and go home. We do not really do big meetings or fancy presentations. We just look at the schedule and try to finish what needs finishing before the sun goes down.
