We are located out on Sinhagad Road in the Wadgaon Khurd area. The address is a bit of a mouthful, 10-1/ 36/1/1, but we’ve been here at Autobat Accumulator for a long time. This place is all about batteries and nothing else. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, dealing with lead and acid and all that, but it’s what we do for a living. The building is a bit older now and the commute on Sinhagad Road can be a real pain with all the traffic, but we show up every morning. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the assembly line and people moving heavy crates around. We make batteries for all sorts of things. It’s repetitive work, day in and day out, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a flashy showroom because we are more of a factory setup than a retail store. Most of our day is spent checking levels and making sure the plates are set right in the casings. It gets very hot in the summer and the fumes can be strong, so we keep the big fans going all the time. We’ve got a small crew who have mostly been here for years. We aren't looking to change the world, just making sure people have a working battery when they need one for their vehicles. It’s straightforward, practical work that keeps the lights on for us.
