Auto Corner

Auto Corner is situated at Post Kunjeerwadi, right on the Pune-Solapur Road, which is part of NH-9. We are in a spot that sees a lot of travelers and local drivers coming through at all hours. The address also mentions Shivaji Nagar and Sabarmati, but we are primarily anchored on the highway side. It’s a dusty place because of the constant flow of vehicles on the national highway. We spend most of our time out in the front or in the back work area dealing with cars and mechanical parts. There’s always an old tire or a spare bumper lying around somewhere on the ground. It’s the kind of place where your hands are rarely clean, and you get used to the smell of oil. We get all sorts of people stopping by—some are in a hurry to get back on the road to Solapur, and others are locals from Kunjeerwadi who need something fixed on their tractors or cars. The sun can be pretty brutal out here on the highway, so we spend a lot of time under the shade of the awning near the entrance. We don't have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or coffee; people usually just stand around and chat while we work on their vehicles. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense setup for a garage. Sometimes the traffic is so loud we have to shout to be heard over the engines. We just do the repairs, sell the parts, and keep things moving for everyone.
