We set up Auram Machines (I) Pvt. Ltd. at Sr. No. 78/4 in the Dangat Industries area. It’s off the New Ahire Gaon Road in Shivane. It’s a decent-sized space, though it fills up fast with the machines we are working on. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise and movement around us. We aren't the type of company with a big lobby or a person sitting at a front desk just to say hello. Usually, if you show up, you have to find one of us on the workshop floor. We spend our hours looking at blueprints and making sure the metal is cut right. It’s hot in the summer and the fans don't always do much, but we keep at it. Sometimes a supplier is late or a part doesn't arrive, which throws our schedule off, but we just adjust. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make machines that do what they are supposed to do. The guys here have been working with their hands for years. We talk about the work while we eat our lunch, then get back to it. Shivane is a good spot for us because it’s close to where we need to be. There’s no polished corporate vibe here—just oil, metal, and the sound of machines running most of the day.
