Attamul Aam Foundation

If you go down to Bhawani Peth, you’ll find us at Flat Number 13 in building 780. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of old shops and narrow lanes. Attamul Aam Foundation has been here for a while now. The office is small and gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. Most of the time, it’s just one or two of us handling the daily tasks. The stairs are a bit steep, and the building shows its age, but it’s home for us. We spend our time working on local issues and helping folks in the neighborhood who have nowhere else to turn. It’s not glamorous work. There is a lot of talking to people, filling out forms, and trying to figure out how to get things done with very little. We don't use big words or have complicated goals. We just look at what’s in front of us and try to help. The noise from the street is constant, with scooters and delivery trucks moving through Bhawani Peth all day long. Sometimes we have to shout to be heard over the traffic. We don't have a big budget for marketing or fancy offices. Every bit of what we have goes into the work itself. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and we lose our pens constantly, but we get the job done. That’s just how it is here in the city. We are just regular people trying to be useful.
