Atmakarma Foundation

Our place is over in Flat 502 at Vighanaharta Co. H. Soc., right near the Mhatre Bridge in Pune. It’s a busy part of the city, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. Atmakarma Foundation is what we call this little setup. It’s just a regular flat where we keep our files and meet up to talk about what needs doing. We aren’t a big operation with a fancy lobby. Mostly, it’s just a few desks and a lot of tea being made. We started this because we saw things around the neighborhood that could use some help. Being so close to the bridge means there's always someone passing by. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. Pune has changed a lot, but this corner still feels like the same old place to us. We don’t have any big speeches or a list of goals on the wall. We just take things one day at a time and try to handle the paperwork without getting too behind. It’s honest work. If you’re trying to find us, Cts-61 is the marker on the gate. It’s easier to spot that than looking for the flat number from the street. We’ve been here a while now and it suits us just fine. It’s not polished, but it’s where we do our bit for the folks around here.
