We are based out in Shikrapur, which is on the outskirts of Pune. It is a very different world compared to the main city center. Shikrapur is known for its heavy traffic and all the trucks that pass through on their way to other parts of Maharashtra. Because we are Ata Freightline Pvt Ltd, being in this location makes a lot of sense for our daily work. The air is often filled with the sound of horns and engines, but you get used to it after a few days. Our office is a simple one, nothing too flashy or modern. We have our desks, our ledgers, and a lot of maps on the walls. We spend most of our time dealing with freight schedules and talking to drivers who are passing through the area. It is a bit of a dusty place, especially in the summer, but that is just how it is in this part of the state. We do not have a lot of the luxuries you might find in a downtown office, but we have a good group of people who know the business well. There is a local place nearby where we get our chai and snacks, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We do not try to impress anyone with big words or polished reports. We just make sure the freight gets where it needs to go. It is a straightforward life here in Shikrapur, and we have been part of this landscape for a while now. We just do the work and try to stay ahead of the traffic.
