Associated Designers

We are tucked away in Shankar Rao More Soc. which is right near the Rajaram Bridge in Karvenaga. Associated Designers is basically just a few rooms where we sit and draw stuff. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty calm until the traffic starts building up on the bridge. We can hear the scooters and cars passing by all day. Our office has big windows which is nice for the light, even if we just end up looking at the neighbors' laundry half the time. We aren’t the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and opens it. We have a lot of sketches pinned to the walls and coffee mugs sitting on every flat surface. Karvenaga is a nice spot to work in because you can find good food just a short walk away. We spend a lot of time arguing over small details on the drawings. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We just wear what’s comfortable and work until the job is finished. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and you can see the lights from the bridge reflecting on the walls. It’s just a small group of us trying to make things look right. We like it here.
