You can find us over in Warje, inside the Abhishek Textile Market. We’re located at number 17, right by Dodake Tower and directly opposite the petrol pump. It’s a handy location because customers can pull their vehicles right up to the front to load things. We sell all kinds of tiles for floors and walls. It’s heavy, physical work every single day. We spend most of our time moving heavy crates and showing different samples to people who are building or fixing up houses nearby. The showroom isn't massive, but we keep enough variety to give people choices. It’s mostly ceramic and vitrified tiles in various patterns. The dust from the warehouse area usually finds its way into the front, so we’re always sweeping. We don't have fancy spotlights, just regular bulbs so you can see the actual colors. Warje has been growing fast lately, so there are always new construction projects starting up around us. We keep a simple handwritten record of what we have in stock. If something isn't available, we just say so. There’s no point in making things complicated. The petrol pump across the road stays busy, so there’s a lot of noise and horns honking all day. We have a small staff who knows their way around the different brands. It’s a tough job on the back, but it’s what we do. We’ve been here for several years now and we know the locals well.
