The office is located at 1275 Juhu Lane in Shukrawar Peth, which is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time, and the building has a lot of character, mostly in the form of old pipes and narrow hallways. It's not the easiest place to find on the first try, but once you know where Juhu Lane is, it's pretty straightforward. We keep the place fairly simple inside. There are stacks of files and various materials we’ve collected over the years sitting on most of the flat surfaces. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, the clutter definitely wins. The windows look out onto the street, so we get to see everyone passing by, which is a nice distraction when things are slow. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts you see in magazines; it’s more of a traditional setup with rooms and doors. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just deal with it and keep going. Most of our days are spent at our desks, talking over the sound of the street and drinking far too much coffee. It’s a lived-in space that feels more like a home than a business most of the time. We like the neighborhood, even with the traffic and the noise, because it feels real and grounded. It's just a regular place where we get our work done.
