Ashoka Industries

Ashoka Industries is out on Chikhali Road. We are located at Gat No. 1536 in the Sonawane Wasti area of Talawade. It is an industrial part of town, so there are always machines running and trucks moving around. I spend most of my time on the floor checking on things. We do basic manufacturing work here. It is loud and it can get pretty greasy on the machines. My father started this a long time ago and I just kept it going because it is what I know. We have a few guys working the machines. They have been with us for years and know exactly what to do. The office is just a small room with a desk that is covered in papers and old tools. We do not have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up and talks to the caller. Most of our work comes from other businesses nearby. It is a lot of metal work and simple parts for machines. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the stuff out of the way. We are not trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to get the orders done so people come back next time. It is hard work and long hours, especially when a machine breaks down. But that is just part of the job in Talawade. We keep the gates open and keep working.
