You can find us at Flat A3/704 in the Ganga Panama building, which is right on the Pimpri Nilakh BRT Road in Pune. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view of the buses going by on the BRT lane below. The flat itself is where we handle everything for the foundation. It’s a typical home layout that we’ve adapted for our office needs. We use the kitchen area for making tea and storing some of our supplies. The main living room is where most of the desks are. It’s not a corporate office by any means. We have some regular home furniture mixed in with our office chairs. Sometimes the elevator in Ganga Panama takes a while, but the building is well-maintained. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the security staff knows us well. Most of our work involves a lot of coordination on the phone and keeping our records straight in the cabinets we’ve lined up against the walls. It can get a bit cramped when we have a few volunteers helping out, but we manage. We like the location because it’s easy for people to reach us using the public transport right outside. There’s no big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in every day, sit at our desks, and do the work that needs to be done.
