Asha Foundation For Sustainability

Asha Foundation For Sustainability is located in Lohegaon, which is a growing part of the city. We are based in the Gokulcrest Co-Op Housing Society Ltd. Our office is actually Flat No. 102 on the 1st floor of S.No.171. It’s a residential building, so it feels very much like a home. We have a kitchen where we make tea and a living area that we’ve turned into a workspace. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for the lift. The society is usually quiet, though you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We are just a few people working out of this apartment. Our desks are pushed against the walls to make more room. It’s a bit tight sometimes, but we get along well. We like the fact that we aren't in a cold, glass office building. It makes the work feel more grounded and real. Lohegaon has its own charm, and we’ve become part of the local scene here. We don’t have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us through word of mouth or by looking for the society gate. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to keep things moving forward. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We are just regular people in a regular flat, doing what we can every day.
