Arvind Kulkarni Foundation

We run the Arvind Kulkarni Foundation out of a flat in Chandrama Residency. It’s Flat B/26, located in S-19, which is part of the Wadgaon BK area in Pune. It’s a residential complex, so it’s got that regular family vibe with kids playing in the corridors and neighbors chatting by the gate. We aren't a big company with a high-rise office. We just converted this flat into our workspace because it was easier and more sensible for us. Wadgaon BK has grown a lot lately, and the roads can get pretty crowded, but our little corner in Chandrama Residency stays fairly quiet. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception desk. Most of the time, it’s just a couple of us working at the dining table or in the front room. It’s a simple way to operate, and it keeps our costs down. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a corporate look. We’re just regular people from Pune who wanted to start something meaningful. Sometimes the society meetings get a bit loud, or we have to deal with the usual apartment problems like water timing, but we just take it as it comes. It’s a very grounded way to work. We are part of the Pune Municipal Corporation area, but it feels like a small village sometimes because we know everyone in the building. It’s just our home base.
