Arvind Jain Foundation

The Arvind Jain Foundation is located in Shivajinagar, right at Survey Number 108/7. We’re really close to the Chaturshringi Mandir, so we hear the temple bells and see the big crowds, especially during the festival times. It’s a very lively part of Pune to be in. Our setup is pretty basic and we don’t have any of those big glass partitions you see in the new IT parks. It’s just an old-school Pune building where we have our space. Sometimes the traffic near the temple gets so backed up that it takes a while to even get to the door, but we don't mind the energy of the area. We’ve been here for a bit and we like that we aren't hidden away in some boring business district. We’re right where the people are. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting around talking about what needs to be done next. There isn't a lot of formality here. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea and looking over some handwritten notes. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just do it. Being in Shivajinagar gives us a good connection to the rest of the city. It’s a practical location for us, even if the building is a bit older and the stairs creak a little. We're just a small team trying to stay busy near the temple.
