There are always keys hanging on the wall and folders piled up on the desks. We don't go in for fancy decorations. A few calendars and a clock that’s five minutes fast are about all we have on the walls. The street outside is always full of motorcycles and people moving about. Being at Survey No 18/19 means we are easy to find if you know the area. We spend our mornings checking on things and talking to folks who stop by. It’s a practical place. We have a big table where we spread out papers. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking noise, but we don't mind. Khondhwa has changed a lot, but we stay put at our spot. We are just local people doing property work. Nothing more to it. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the mail to arrive. If you’re walking past the survey area, you’ll likely see us sitting inside or standing by the door. It is just a regular office for Arti Properties Pvt Ltd, and we like it that way.
