Art Point

Ghorpade Peth is always busy, especially around Siddrath Appartment where we have been for a while now. Our shop, Art Point, is tucked away in the basement at shop number 3. It’s not the biggest place, and sometimes it gets a bit stuffy down there when we have a lot of work piled up, but it works for us. Most people know the building, No - 331, so it’s not too hard to find if you know where the stairs are. We spend most of our days here surrounded by materials and various projects. The lighting in the basement isn't always the best, but we've got enough lamps set up to see what we are doing. It’s a quiet corner compared to the street noise upstairs. We usually open up early in the morning before the traffic gets too heavy. Sometimes the neighbors from the apartments above stop by for a quick chat while they're heading out. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with some tables and tools. Often, we’re just focusing on getting through the orders we have for the week. The basement stays cool in the summer which is a nice break from the heat outside. We've been at this spot for a good bit of time, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. Just a lot of hands-on work in Shop No. - 3. It feels like home after all this time.
