Most mornings start with the shutters going up around eight or so at our shop. We have been at T 96/2 in the MIDC Bhosari area for quite some time now, and the landscape around us has changed a lot over the years. You can hear the constant hum of the industrial estate from our front door. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time, so we all just know the daily routine without having to talk about it too much. We do a lot of welding work, as the name says on the sign outside. There is usually a bit of a mess with metal scraps and tools lying around on the workbenches, but we find what we need eventually. The office part of the building isn't anything special, just a few desks and a lot of old files piled up. Sometimes the tea lady comes around twice a day, and that is when everyone actually takes a short break to sit down. It is not a flashy place, just a regular workshop where we get things done. People find us easily enough because everyone in this section of Bhosari knows the local landmarks. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have and try to get them finished before the sun goes down. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. If you walk in, you will probably see someone covered in soot.
