Architecture Media

Down in Pimpri 302, you’ll find the office for Architecture Media. It’s a bit of a different kind of place compared to the big firms. We have some computers set up for digital work and a lot of magazines and books scattered around on the shelves. The office isn't very big, so we have to be organized, though it doesn't always stay that way during a busy week. There’s a constant hum from the hard drives and the air conditioner in the corner. We spend a lot of time looking at photos and layouts on our screens. It’s not just about drawing buildings; it’s about how they look on paper or a digital screen too. The walls have some old posters and some rough sketches taped up with masking tape that’s starting to peel. We don’t have a fancy entrance or a receptionist to greet people when they walk in. If you come by, one of us will probably just look up from a monitor and say hello. It’s a very casual environment where we wear whatever is comfortable and drink way too much tea to stay awake. Sometimes we spend hours just trying to get a single image to look right for a project. We don’t have a corporate hierarchy or any of those formal rules. We just work together on whatever projects are on the desk that day. It’s a bit of a creative mess, but we manage to get things finished on time.
