Architects & Interior Designers

We are over at Parvati 484/7. The name of the place is just Architects & Interior Designers, which is pretty much exactly what we do every day. It’s a small office filled with fabric swatches, paint chips, and rolls of paper that never seem to stay organized. There’s barely enough room to move sometimes because we have so many catalogs and samples stacked up on the floor. Someone is always searching for a specific shade of blue or trying to find a misplaced ruler under a pile of notes. We don’t have a sleek showroom with fancy lighting. Instead, you’ll find us sitting at desks that have been rearranged a dozen times to make more space for a new printer or a drafting board. The building itself is older, and you can hear the stairs creaking when anyone comes up to visit. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons sketching out floor plans by hand or on the computer. It’s not a very formal atmosphere here. We often eat lunch at our desks while looking at site photos or discussing a new project. Sometimes we disagree about a design choice, and you can hear the debate from across the room. It’s a very hands-on type of work. We aren't interested in being a huge firm; we just like sitting here in Parvati and figuring out how to make a room look decent for the people who live there.
