Handwriting Learning Centre

You can find us at Plot No. 27, inside the Narhar Smruti building in the Jeevan Prakash Society. We are located in Aranetshwar, quite close to Parvati Hall. It’s a quiet residential kind of area, which makes it a good spot for the Handwriting Learning Centre. Inside, we have rows of wooden desks and lots of different pens and papers scattered about. It’s mostly silent here, except for the scratching sound of nibs on paper. We spend a lot of time looking over people's shoulders and showing them how to hold a pen differently. It’s a slow process, and you need a lot of patience to sit here for hours. The room has a nice light in the morning because of the big windows facing the society garden. We have some old posters on the walls showing different script styles, but they are starting to fade a bit. Sometimes we hear the noise from functions over at Parvati Hall, but usually, it’s just the sound of birds outside. People of all ages come in here, some looking very frustrated with their scrawl. We just give them a fresh sheet and tell them to start again. It’s a simple life, focused on something most people don't think about much anymore. We make sure everyone leaves with ink on their fingers and a better grip on their pencils.
