If you are looking for Applied Theatre India Foundation, we are over in Karve Nagar at Sreeman Society. Our specific spot is Plot Number 17, Hissa Number 1. Karve Nagar is a nice area of Pune, quite different from the busier parts of the city center. The society is a typical residential layout where everyone knows their neighbors. We use our space here to organize everything we do with theatre and community work. It’s not a stage or a rehearsal hall, just a functional office where the planning happens. There are stacks of scripts and notebooks all over the place, and our desks are usually covered in coffee mugs and pens. We didn't want a fancy corporate office because that doesn't really fit what we do. We like the quiet of the society and the fact that we can actually hear ourselves think. Sometimes we sit out in the common area if the weather is nice, just to get away from the screens for a bit. The address can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers because of the plot and hissa numbers, but we usually just tell them to look for the Sreeman sign. It’s a very relaxed environment, maybe a bit messy at times, but it’s where the creative ideas start. We’re just a small team of people who care about theatre and want to keep things simple and real.
