Aparna Publications

You can find Aparna Publications over at R Square, specifically at Survey No 116/7/1 in Warje. We are pretty close to Mai Mangeshkar Hospital, so that is usually the landmark we tell people to look for when they are lost. Our office is No 109. It’s a standard commercial building, so there is always someone coming or going in the hallways. We spend our days surrounded by stacks of paper and proofs. It’s a quiet kind of busy here, mostly the sound of typing or someone flipping through pages. The view from the window isn't much, just the street below, but the light is good for reading. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated group of us trying to get the books and papers out on time. Sometimes the elevators in R Square are a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We've got our shelves packed with everything we've worked on over the years. It feels a bit cramped sometimes with all the inventory, but it’s a good kind of full. We don't have a glossy reception desk or anything. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us at a desk covered in manuscripts. It’s a simple workplace in a busy neighborhood, and we like the rhythm of it. Warje is a good spot for us to be, especially since there are some decent food stalls nearby where we grab lunch.
