Apang Seva

At Apang Seva, we are located at 5 Jyoti Vihar in the Wanworie area. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the school for the handicapped. It’s a good location for what we do, and being near the school makes it easy for folks to explain where they are going. Our building is a simple one, and we try to keep it welcoming for anyone who walks through the door. We don't have a big corporate budget for decorations, so it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and the paperwork we need to help people out. Most of the staff here have been around for a long time and they know the community well. We spend our days coordinating help and making sure resources get where they are supposed to go. It isn't always easy and some days are definitely longer than others. We don’t really have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just talk to the people who come in and try to figure out the best way to assist them. The neighborhood is fairly calm, which is nice when we have a lot of visitors. If you’re coming by, there’s usually some space to park nearby. We are just a group of people trying to do something useful for the folks in Wanworie. It’s basic, honest work and we’re happy to be doing it together.
