It is a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a business. Angkorwat Bharat Foundation is just a small group of us trying to make a difference in our own way. We do not have a big staff or a board of directors in suits. It is mostly just us sitting around a table figuring things out. The view from the fifth floor is alright, and it stays relatively quiet so we can focus. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people locally. This was not started to make money or get famous. We just saw a need and decided to fill it. Sometimes we struggle with the paperwork or the technical side of things, but we always find a way through. It is a bit of a learning process for everyone involved. We do not have a fancy website with professional photos. What you see is what you get. We are just regular people from Pune who care about what happens in our neighborhood. If you ever stop by, do not expect a formal greeting. We will probably just offer you a seat and a glass of water while we finish whatever we are working on. It is a plain, straightforward operation here. There is no hidden agenda, just hard work and a bit of patience.
