Ananda Centre

Ananda Centre is located at E/9/6 in Kothrud. It is a simple place in a residential part of the city. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. The space is mostly used for the various activities and programs we run, and we try to keep it as calm as possible. Kothrud is a nice area with a lot of trees and families, so it fits the kind of work we do. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, so you can hear them laughing through the windows. We handle most of the daily chores ourselves, like sweeping the floors and making sure there is fresh water for whoever comes in. The address is easy to find once you are in the right lane of Kothrud. We don't do much advertising; people usually find out about us from someone else who has been here. It’s a modest setup with just the basic furniture and a few books on the shelves. We open the doors in the morning and stay until the last person leaves. It’s a quiet life here, focusing on the people who walk through the door and making sure they have what they need for their time at the centre.
