V. N. Enterprises

We have been at S-9/201 for quite some time now. It is not the biggest space you will ever see, but it works well enough for what we do here at V. N. Enterprises. Usually, my day starts by rolling up the front shutters and seeing what needs to be tackled first. Some days the place is a bit of a mess with boxes and papers everywhere, but that is just how it goes when you are busy. We do not really have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff we need to get through the daily tasks. It is mostly just a few of us here, and we know each other's ways pretty well by now. The neighborhood is okay, and we get along with the other folks nearby. If the phone rings, someone grabs it, and if someone walks in, we just talk to them like normal people. There is no big corporate office vibe here. My desk is usually covered in notes and old tea cups, which I really should clean up more often. We just focus on what is in front of us and try to get it finished before it is time to head home. It is simple work, and we are fine with that. We do not spend much time on computers unless we really have to. Most of our records are still kept in those big blue ledgers because they never crash. It is just an honest way to spend the day.
