You can find Anand Machine Tools right at 21/1 Ambegaon Khurd, just opposite the Warje Katraj Highway. Being so close to the highway means there is always noise from the trucks passing by, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We handle a lot of different machinery and parts here. The floor is usually covered with some dust or oil, which is just part of the job when you’re dealing with heavy equipment. We don’t have a professional cleaning crew coming in every hour to polish the floors. It’s a working shop. Most of the guys here have grease under their fingernails and know exactly how a particular lathe or drill is supposed to sound when it’s running right. We spend our time taking orders, checking the stock, and sometimes helping someone load a heavy piece of equipment into their truck. It’s pretty straightforward. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with fancy talk. If a machine works, it works. If it doesn’t, we figure out why. Living and working near the highway has its own rhythm. We open up early, get the tea going, and start going through the list of what needs to be shipped out or repaired. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it at this location for a good while now.
