Anand Batteries & Tyres

Our shop is tucked away at Shop No 16 in Clarion Park, right near the old pump house in Aundh. We’re on the Andheri Service Road. It’s a bit of a mouthfull to say, but if you find the Gaikwad Petrol Pump, we are just next to it. We deal with tyres and batteries all day. It’s greasy work and our hands are usually dirty by noon, but that’s the job we chose. People come in when their car won't start in the morning or they have a flat they can't fix themselves. We have stacks of tyres everywhere and batteries lined up on the metal shelves. It’s not a fancy showroom, it’s just a practical workshop. We spend a lot of time outside on the pavement checking air pressures or swapping out old battery cells for new ones. The traffic on the service road is constant and loud. We’ve seen plenty of people in a huge hurry. We just try to get them back on the road as fast as we can. It’s a practical business for practical people. No one really comes here for fun; they come because they need something fixed. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. It’s a decent spot because of the petrol pump being so close. We don't do much advertising at all. People just see the sign while they're driving and pull over. That’s how it goes for us.
