Kumar Millennium is the name of the building on Paud Road where we set up shop. We are in Kothrud, which is a part of town that is always moving. We deal with auto parts for various vehicles. The shop isn't very large but we managed to pack a lot of inventory into it. There’s always a faint smell of rubber and oil around here. It’s a good smell if you’re used to working with cars. We see a lot of local mechanics coming in and out all day long. They are usually in a big hurry to get back to their garages. We try to keep up with them as best we can. The traffic on Paud Road is something else, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Sometimes I just sit by the window and watch the bikes go by for a minute. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop but not too bad for most people. We have a small crew here and we all know each other well. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits or fancy shoes. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of grease on. I bought this place years ago and haven't ever felt the need to move. It’s a solid spot for us. We have a group of customers who have been coming to us for a long time. We just show up and provide the parts they need.
