Amaron Batteries

You can find our shop at C1-27 in Pleasant Park-2. We’re right near the Bairobi Nala and not too far from Fatima Nagar on the Pune-Solapur Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always cars and bikes passing by. At Amaron Batteries, we mostly deal with people who are having a bad day because their car won't start. We’ve got rows of batteries stacked up against the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the shop sometimes. We spend a lot of time out on the sidewalk checking under hoods or testing terminals. It’s dirty work, and our hands are usually black by lunchtime. We don't have any fancy waiting room. Most people just stand around and chat while we work. The traffic noise from the Pune-Solapur Road is constant, but you stop hearing it after a while. We’ve got a small desk in the corner where we keep the receipts and the phone. It rings quite a bit. We try to get to everyone as fast as we can. Being near the nala means it can get a bit damp, but we keep the stock high up. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and the neighbors are alright. It’s a basic shop for a basic need. We just keep the batteries charged and the tools ready. There’s always someone here from morning till late, just in case a driver gets stuck.
