Amar Traders

Amar Traders is up on the 2nd floor of Prathamesh Apartments in Ujavi Bhusari, Kothrud. Specifically, we are at Plot No 32, Flat No 8. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs since we are on the second floor, but it’s good for a little exercise during the day. The apartment building is a regular residential structure, so it feels very grounded and local. Inside Flat No 8, we have our inventory and our desks set up to handle the daily business. Kothrud is a busy part of the city, and Ujavi Bhusari has its own character with plenty of houses and small shops nearby. We often hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the balcony door, like dogs barking or neighbors talking in the hallway. Our space is functional and a bit crowded with all the things we need for trading. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls; it’s just a flat where we do our work. The light coming in through the windows in the afternoon is quite bright, which is nice for seeing what we are doing. We’ve been at Plot No 32 for a while and the people in the other apartments are used to seeing us coming and going with boxes. It is a straightforward operation where we focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things organized in a small space.
