We work out of Parvati Kot Ni Rang in unit A/6. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. The office is small but it fits what we need to get through the day. We have some desks pushed against the walls and a few old filing cabinets. The windows look out onto the local street. Usually, we are just sitting here handling whatever comes our way. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a clock that runs a few minutes fast. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The building itself has been around for a while. You can tell by the way the stairs feel when you walk up. We mostly just keep to ourselves and do our work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stand but we like the area. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that. It’s just a place where we come every morning to stay busy. The air gets a bit still in the afternoons, so we usually keep the door open. We’ve lived and worked around Parvati for years. It’s a familiar routine that hasn't changed much. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized with our folders and notebooks.
