Alpha Works

Alpha Works is located out in GIDC Manjusar, specifically at 248 Chinchwad Taluka Savli. We are right near the Bindu Nursing Home, so that's a good landmark if you're looking for us. This is an industrial area, so it’s usually pretty loud with all the machines running nearby. We do a lot of practical work here, mostly stuff that involves metal or fixing things that break down in the local factories. It’s a dusty place and we usually have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. We started this because we liked building things and it just grew into a full-time job. We don’t have a fancy front office with air conditioning; it’s mostly just the workshop and a small desk where we keep the invoices. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to take a break until it comes back on. That's just how it is in Manjusar. We know most of the other shop owners around here and we help each other out when someone needs a specific tool or a bit of advice. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. We take on small jobs and big ones too, depending on who walks in. We've been at this address for several years and don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon. It’s our little corner of the industrial estate.
