All Child Education Foundation

We run the All Child Education Foundation from a place in Ghorpadi, Pune. Specifically, we are at C/O Butiya Chanda in Kalashankar Nagar. The address is S 52/2/1, and it's right behind the masjid. It’s a lively neighborhood and there is always something going on in the streets. We don't have a proper school building yet. We just work out of this space to coordinate things for the kids around here. Pune has a lot of schools, but many children still fall through the cracks. We try to catch them and help them stay on track. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping registers and visiting families. Our office space is pretty cramped with stacks of old textbooks and boxes of donated pens. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. Usually, there’s a bit of noise from the mosque and the kids playing outside, but we don't mind it much. We aren't professionals with big degrees in management. We are just people from the community who wanted to do something about the education situation. Sometimes we run out of supplies and have to wait for more to come in. We don't have a big marketing team to tell our story. We just talk to the parents one-on-one. If you come by, you'll probably find us sorting through some papers or talking to a student on the doorstep. It’s simple, honest work and it keeps us busy every single day for the local kids.
