Our office is located on the 3rd Floor of The Fifth Avenue building, at D1/D2 on Dhole Patil Road. It’s a busy street with lots of restaurants and people walking around, which is a bit different from being in a factory zone. At Alfa Laval Support Services Pvt. Ltd., we spend a lot of our time on the phone or on our computers. We’re the people who help out when something goes wrong with the equipment out in the field. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and looking through manuals to find the right part numbers. Sometimes the air conditioning in the building acts up, and we all sit there with the windows open, listening to the traffic below while we work. We aren't a high-pressure sales office. We’re mostly technical people who ended up in an office setting. We have a small pantry where we spend too much time talking about cricket or the weather. It’s a decent place to work. We don't have fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a lot of files and a list of customers who need help. We try to get back to everyone as fast as we can, but some days the tickets just pile up. We’ve been in this Dhole Patil Road spot for a while now, and the local tea stall guy knows all our names. It’s just a normal office doing its best to keep things moving.
