Our office and works are situated on the Mumbai Pune Road, right in the Dapodi area. It is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always the loud sound of cars and trucks zooming past. The facility has been here for a long time, and it looks like a place where real work gets done. There is plenty of gray concrete and steel everywhere you look. We don't put much effort into making the place look trendy or modern. It is an engineering and manufacturing site, so it is more about function than how it looks to people passing by. You will find people in work clothes moving between the different buildings all day long. The air usually smells a bit like metal and machinery. We have a lot of history in this Dapodi location, and some of the staff have been coming through these gates since they were young men just starting out. It is a large site, so it takes a bit of walking to get from one side to the other for meetings. We have our own routine here, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the road gets too backed up. The canteen is usually the heart of the place during the lunch hour, where everyone catches up. It is a straightforward operation. We handle heavy equipment and parts, so there is always a forklift moving somewhere or a crane being operated. We just show up and put in the hours.
