We have been here at Plot No 19 in the Shah Industrial Estate for quite a while now. If you walk down the road in Nagargaon, you can usually hear our machines running most of the day. It is a busy part of Pune, and we just try to keep up with the work coming in. Mostly we deal with grinding jobs, which is what we know how to do. The shop floor gets a bit dusty, and it is usually pretty loud when the guys are working, but that is just how it goes in a place like this. We have got some older machines that still run great and a few newer ones too. People around here know where to find us if they need something sorted out. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic on the way to the estate is a mess, but we manage. My father started things off and now we just keep it going as best we can. We spend most of our time looking at parts and making sure they fit right. There is always plenty to do, and the day goes by fast when the orders are piled up. We don't really spend much time on the computer or writing things down, we just stay on the floor. It is a honest living and we like being part of the local industrial community here in Maharashtra.
