Alchem International Ltd

In the village of Adhalgaon, over in Shrigonda, you'll find Alchem International Ltd. It’s a rural part of the Ahmednagar district, so it’s mostly farmland and open space around our facility. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the seasons change many times. Our work involves a lot of moving parts, but the way we run the office is very basic. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they just walk in and ask for whoever they need to see. We have some desks, a few computers that have seen better days, and a lot of files piled up. The Maharashtra heat can be tough, so we have a few old coolers running in the summer months. It’s not a fancy place, just a working site. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so we all know each other’s families. We don’t talk like those people in big city offices in Mumbai or Pune. We speak simply and get to the point. We handle the materials and make sure everything is recorded properly. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. The roads around Shrigonda are okay, but they get busy during the harvest season. We just adjust our schedules and keep moving. It's just regular work for us, and we don't mind the quiet nature of the place.
